National Environmental Justice Advisory Council Virtual Public Meeting

The meeting discussions will focus on several topics including, but not limited to, workgroup activity, final recommendations for council consideration, and charges created through collaborations with various EPA national program offices.

The NEJAC is interested in receiving public comments on EPA’s water infrastructure technical assistance efforts to ensure communities with environmental justice concerns (particularly for community water systems, decentralized systems, and/or non-existent infrastructure) can obtain technical assistance to address their environmental, public health, affordability and climate resiliency needs, and reduce longstanding and cumulative negative health impacts.

Every effort will be made to hear from as many registered public commenters during the time specified on the agenda.

Priority to speak during the meeting will be given to public commenters with comments relevant to water infrastructure technical assistance efforts to communities with environmental justice concerns.

Each commenter will have 3 minutes to briefly describe their issue and recommendation to the NEJAC.
