How to operate and maintain a wastewater collection and lift station system to reduce the potential risk for a sanitary sewer overflow. We will discuss the use of Standard Operating Procedures for inspecting the collection system from inspecting manholes, lift stations, air relief valves, conducting smoke testing and sewer camera inspection for reducing the effects of Inflow and Infiltration, generators and by-pass pumping and lesson learned.
